Unique opportunity to work as a Customer Support Manager (Mechanical Equipment) for a thriving manufacturing business in the field of high voltage generators and power management systems. You will support and resolve all mechanical issues related to the global aftermarket business for large generator designs (cooling systems, rotor dynamics, bearings, vibration studies, housing design, machine losses/efficiency and hydraulic circuits). As Customer Support Manager (Mechanical Equipment) you will act as Lead Engineer/technical expert for turbogenerators and work closely with customers and Sales and Project Managers at the tendering stage. Essential Skills:

Expert in mechanical engineering of electrical generators. Six Sigma/Lean trained. Appreciation of financial/commercial aspects and implications of proposed technical solutions for in-service problems. Understanding of basic generator electrical operation and connection. 3D and 2D CAD programs knowledge used in the analysis of rotating machine dynamics. Stress/thermal analysis software packages (FEA) Design reviews. Project Management. Degree in Engineering. Chartered Mechanical Engineer preferred.
