The Role:

The main responsibilities will be:

* To undertake a support role for the Master Data function within the procurement and supply chain area.
* To provide effective and efficient administration whilst ensuring targets and objectives are consistently achieved.
* Strive to deliver high levels of customer service to all internal and external clients.
* To set up suppliers on the COINS system. To set up direct debits on the system.
* To attain sub contractor approvals.
* The ideal candidate will have construction knowledge

Essential Skills:

* Educated to GCSE/o level grade C minimum (English/Maths)
* Broad experience in civil engineering/building or highways maintenance
* Commercial awareness
* Intermediate/advanced IT skills, including MS Word and Excel.
* Knowledge of COINS.
* Knowledge of suppliers and sub contractors.

Key Performance Indicators:

* Set up Supplier Master records
* New contract set up form
* Workflow amendments
* Administer performance reports
* Administer supplier data changes
* Subcontractors approvals
* Direct Debit set up
* Update Supplier dispute and failure records in COINS
* Managing dormant supplier status including validating supplier details
* Ensure effective customer relationships are established and maintained through providing a prompt service by fully understanding client's needs and requirements.
