Customer Service Engineer Jobs

As a customer service engineer you will assist in providing on or off-site corrective or preventative maintenance and offer after-sales technical support solutions to paying customers. You will be a talented and enthusiastic individual who is able to problem-solve and respond to customers' issues. You will have excellent people skills as you will be in regular contact with the public.

As an engineer you will have experience of providing technical support, offering customer training, liaising with and working alongside technical sales engineers. A strong passion for relationship-building with customers and for providing excellent customer satisfaction is also imperative.

A talented customer service engineer will have a strong ability for problem-solving and a tenacious attitude toward providing first-class customer support. You will be confident when approaching new and never previously experienced situations. You will be responsible for the maintenance of customer's equipment and will report back on product performance and offer feedback on future product development, features and functions.

Typically, the role will be split between the office and customers' properties, so you will be willing to travel and will ideally hold a clean driving licence, as you can expect to be visiting customers at their premises and attending to issues with the firm's products.
