Customer Service Junior Executive Jobs
The Customer Care Executive or CSE role is a key part of any customer facing organisation, representing the front line of all customer interactions and thus significantly affecting the customer experience.
In many cases these roles are located in contact centres and interactions will mostly be handled on the telephone or online, although some roles may also be a face to face environment such as in a retail outlet or drop in centre. You will be working within a team, either taking inbound calls or making outbound calls. These calls will generally be managed by an IVR system that automatically connects you to customers.
The role will involve greeting customers and listening to their query or problem. The Customer care executive will then use their product knowledge and existing processes to understand how the call needs to be resolved. They will either resolve the matter there and then in a professional manner, or arrange a follow-up where appropriate. The customer care executive will also be responsible for recording customer transactions on the relevant systems and databases and keeping records updated. There may be time following each contact to wrap up a call and carry out the next steps.
To succeed in the role of a customer care executive you will need to possess good communication skills and the ability to listen carefully. You will need to understand what constitutes good customer service and be able to demonstrate it in your actions. You will have the ability to follow processes, stick to SLAs and use customer management systems following your interactions.
You will also require good problem solving and analytical skills and perhaps numeracy skills. Additionally you will need to have a positive and friendly manner and be motivated and enthusiastic. The role can be pressured and you will be working as part of a team, to combined targets and measures to which you will be contributing.
